Deviating from the Cultural Norm is an ongoing collaborative project. It was originally described by its founders, Anisa Schardl and Kyra Davies, as a book encompassing "anything, everything, and nothing"...and that description still fits, although we've added message boards, mailing lists, clubs, and, as you can see, this website.

Here you can read chapters of Deviating the book, contribute your own, talk with and read about the authors, take surveys and quizzes, and enjoy the sheer randomness of our world.

This page is currently under mildly heavy reconstruction and is the last phase in three years of constant moving around the Web. We plan to update regularly at random intervals.
