Once upon a time, in this totally hypothetical situation, there was a girl named Kara. She had a friend named Nina, who also does not exist. They were freshmen at this nonexistent school and they were in the math science magnet program there, which is not real. I can't emphasize enough how untrue this story is. Kara and Nina liked, in their imaginary world, to sing songs by Andrew Floyd Webber, who never lived and is not living now.
These two imaginary people were very deviating. (Deviating from the Cultural Norm is, in real life, the name of this book.) In fact, they thought that if there were a book about that sort of thing, they would be good people to write it. Not like there was in that time that did not happen.
Kara and Nina would have had a nomadic lifestyle, had they existed. They would have had lunch in one place one day and another, another day. I can't overemphasize the untruth of this chapter. It is totally hypothetical, like Star Wars. It couldn't be more untrue.
But anyway, Kara and Nina were doing a project in their keyboarding class for their math science magnet. They didn't quite get done and had to write a letter to the director, Mr. Addams, to ask for extra time.
So Kara and Nina lived their fictional lives and had a virtually great time. Their hypothetical words of advice are,
"Don't trust reality."
