Erik is addicted to Vitamin C (ascorbic acid, C6H8O6). His friends send him to VA (Vitamins Anonymous) because they care about him. They don't want him to die from a vitamin overdose; they want to kill him themselves. Also, it would be embarrassing ("My friend Erik died today...What did he die of? Um, a vitamin overdose.") Erik wisely takes their advice. He begins to fight his addiction.
On the first day, he eats 900 times his daily vitamin needs per one hour. The next day, he eats 700 per hour; the third, 600 per hour. Using three sets of ordered pairs, find the equation for this process. Assume it is quadratic because Erik begins to get worse after a while. Also assume he doesn't die from his addiction. (Of course I couldn't let him die. That would be too easy.) Sketch the graph.
